Nigerians to Benefit ₦704.91 million from House of Representatives’ Donation.
The House of Representatives has taken a significant step to support vulnerable Nigerians affected by the economic challenges resulting from the removal of the petrol subsidy.
On December 31, 2024, the House will present a total of N704.91 million to President Tinubu for the welfare of those in need.

This donation follows a resolution made by the House on to donate 50% of their salaries for six months to support Nigerians in need.
The House of Representatives made a resolution on July 18, 2024.
After Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu moved a motion to address hunger and alleviate hardships.

During a recent plenary session, Speaker Tajudeen Abba annced that the total donation amount so far is N704,907,578.82.
