Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational And Associated Institutions TCTI, Biase Protest; list their Demands
Below are their Demands
From the reality on ground in the institute, NASU-TCTI, Biase Branch hereby makes the following demands:
1. Payment of our 7 months (December 2024 to June 2025) Minimum Wage arrears.
2. Payment of our 26 months (September 2021 to December 2023) Earned Academic Allowance arrears.
3. Domiciliation of our salaries in our respective banks for easy access to loan facilities.
4. Payment of our 2024 incremental step.
5. Payment of N10,000 2025 Christmas bonus implemented by His Excellency, Sen. (Prince) Bassey Edet Otu for all civil servants in Cross River State.
6. Promotion of NASU members that are overdue for promotion.
7. Upgrading/Proper placement of NASU members with additional qualifications.
8. Management should stop interfering in NASUs internal affairs- respect NASU autonomy.
9. Let our deducted tax from March 2022 to date reflect on our individual TIN accounts.
10.Stop staff intimidation, dehumanization and oppression of NASU members.
11.Immediate withdrawal of Mr. Abing Chukwu Iza’s suspension.
12. The Director-General, Prof. Taoheed Abdul Adedoja, should stop running the Institute as a Private Enterprise.
