NUASS endorse Peter Obi as presidential Candidate

Press Statement,

NUASS endorse Former Anambra state Governor and presidential Candidate of the Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi for President.
…Says Obi remains the best option for Nigeria
…. Concludes the arrangement of 10 student voters as canvassers per polling unit in the tertiary institution campuses in the state and beyond.

The National Union of Anambra State Students Nationwide NUASS on Thursday 23rd of February 2023 officially endorsed the candidacy of the former state governor and the presidential candidate of the labour party, Mr. Peter Obi.

The endorsement letter which was written and signed by the national executives after a three hours zoom meeting was announced by the national public relations Officer, Comr. Chris Onwa Mmaju.

The National President of the Union, H.E Nnanna Lawrence said that although the endorsement is coming just two days before the election, the Union, students leaders, and Anambra students have not been idle and doing nothing but have long engaged in serious nationwide and campus sensitization, helping the students to collect their PVC, strategizing and getting structures and assembling at least 10 students with PVC per polling unit in every campus in Anambra state and beyond.
The union also sent instructions to Anambra state students studying in all tertiary institution across the nationon who to vote.

As the election is almost here, the National Union of Anambra State Students has stated in clear terms that none of the opposition candidates can match the potential candidate of our son and the presidential candidate of the labour party, Mr. Peter Obi.

For our country to get a renewed breath of life and the type of administration, it has been seeking, It needs the Midas touch, the experience, and the people-oriented leadership of Mr. Peter Obi.

With his track record of excellence and his recording breaking performance as the governor of Anambra state and is the only Governor in Nigeria that left office and saved a huge amount of money for his successor without owning anybody any kobo be it gratuity, pension, salary or any contractor and his administration prioritized Education so much that Anambra emerged first n WAEC and NECO, we do not doubt that Obi has all it requires to lead Nigeria and will perform very well as president.

Today Peter Obi and the labour Party are widely accepted in every nook and cranny of Nigeria and remain the hope of the common Nigerian in restoring the lost glory of our dear country.

Having secured the endorsement of the students is an added advantage and we will do our best to give him at least one million students\’ votes… This is highly achievable and very possible as we ensure massive registration of PVC by students starting from 2021.

As the apex student body in the state, we will round up our campus sensitization by tomorrow Friday 24th February 2023, and will end it with prayers for the victory & emergence of Mr. Peter Obi as Nigeria\’s President.

On that, the incumbent APC administration and intending opposition parties and their candidates should be wary of the students as we have already joined forces with other state student unions, SUGs, and other students association across the country. The student will vote, their votes will count and we will stay in our various polling units and guide our votes.
We cannot afford another ASUU strike
Please help us, God,
Hear our humble prayer.

Signed;
Chris Onwa Mmaju
