Honorable Oden Ewa, Cross River State Commissioner for Special Duties and Intergovernmental Relations, has unveiled a scholarship grant program through the Oden Ewa Foundation. This initiative will benefit 150 students from all local governments within the state and across the federation. This initiative seeks to attract top talent to the Federal Polytechnic Ugep, driving enrollment and fostering academic excellence.
The educational grant scheme specifically targets admitted students of the Federal Polytechnic, Ugep in Yakurr Local Government Area, supporting their academic pursuits in the 2025 academic year.
To be eligible, applicants must have scored 100 and above in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and possess a minimum of five O-level credit passes, including English and Mathematics.
The programs on offer are Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Accountancy, Business Administration, Statistics, Public Administration and Hospitality Management.
According to the convener, who also serves as Chairman/CEO of the Cross River State Green Economy, the program will provide support to 150 deserving students who meet the specified requirements. The aim is to encourage and support young students facing challenges in pursuing their education.
