We, the Efik Youth Forum, are writing to express our deep concern and disappointment regarding recent events surrounding the unity of the Efik Kingdom. It has come to our attention that you have been engaging in activities that seem to be aimed at dividing our community and undermining the authority of Edidem Ekpo Abasi Otu, our revered king.

As an elder and respected member of our society, we believe you must show exemplary leadership and promote the unity and well-being of the Efik people. It is disheartening to witness your actions, which appear to prioritize personal interests over the greater good of our community. We strongly believe that Efik\’s interests should always supersede personal agendas, and we must protect and preserve the unity and integrity of our kingdom.

Edidem Ekpo Abasi Otu is the recognized and legitimate king of the Efik Kingdom, chosen by divine providence and the will of the people. We firmly stand by his leadership and acknowledge that only God has the authority to alter his reign. Any attempt to challenge his authority or sow seeds of discord within our community is not only disrespectful but also detrimental to the progress and development of the Efik Kingdom as a whole.
We must remember that our actions today shape the future for generations to come. The Efik Youth Forum urges you to reconsider your actions and reevaluate the potential consequences they may have on our community\’s unity and reputation. As an elder, you have a unique opportunity to guide and inspire the younger generation, setting a positive example that will guide our future leaders.
Please be aware that the world is watching us, and our actions reflect upon the Efik people as a whole. Let us work together to promote unity, respect, and cooperation within our kingdom. We implore you to desist from any further attempts to divide our community and instead focus your efforts on activities that unite and uplift the Efik people.
Failure to heed this warning and persist in your divisive actions may result in severe consequences, including public condemnation, loss of respect within the youth community, and potential legal actions. We sincerely hope it does not come to this, as we genuinely believe in the capacity for growth and unity within our Efik Kingdom.
We trust that you will consider our concerns seriously and reflect upon the importance of preserving the unity of the Efik people. Let us all work together to ensure a prosperous future for our community.
