In a press briefing to mark his 100 days in office, the governor of Cross River State, Sen. Prince Bassey Edet Otu, openly assured Cross Riverians that the N2billion palliative that was sent to every state has arrived in Cross River State.
As it is, the reason distribution has not taken place is because the modalities of distribution to reach the poor and vulnerable weren’t put in place. He further assured everyone that this is the season of sweetness, and whatever belongs to the masses will get to the masses.
After his speech and attending to questions from different media people at the briefing, the governor called out the strategic names that make up these distributing committees.
