Prof. Florence Banku Obi kickoff a Tournament

The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Calabar, Prof. Florence Banku Obi kickoff a tournament in honour of her second anniversary today at the Abraham Ordia stadium, University of Calabar.

The tournament which is organized by the varsity Students\’ Union Government(SUG) commenced today as the university prepares to mark the second anniversary of the first female and 11th Vice Chancellor in office.

The game had the Executive arm of the students union government in a face-out with the Legislative arm with one goal to nil as at report time.

Prof Obi commended the students body, reaffirmed her Administration\’s commitment to students welfare while encouraging them to strike a favourable balance in their academics and sports.
