No We all saw her strength and resilience through out the times she was working, working with Manual machine for such number of hours is highly commendable and to me it\’s an act of heroism
WITH UTMOST REGRET WE ANNOUNCE A SUSPENSION ON THE ON going 170 Marathon at 62 hours
We didn\’t Fail, we learnt lessons from our mistake and we improve on it,
Here is a run down of challenges we encountered
1. After d first 24hours our time reset and we started from 00:00 clock again(technological error)
2. The second day we did a total of additional 9hours and a few minutes because she got emotional about the timer failure and reset… That is a Total of 34hours plus wasted
3: we started all over on Monday been 17th with d intentions to get to atleast a hundred 100 hours, after 59:30mins of constant sewing we experience a power outage at about 4:30am on the 20th of July, her break period was supposed to be at 60hours which is 30mins away we decided not take the break and find way to get product to power our generator🔥, while still at that, she continued sewing using light from phones but what\’s d use sewing without the timer? She had to stop and wait for power to be restored but when it did, to our disappointment the timer was not responding anymore, after hours of fruitless efforts we have concluded is best to go back to the drawing table, make fresh registration with Guiness world record and do a better come back next year, to enable us plan adequately.
