Sweet Prince Otu Cup 2024 kicks off the zonal playoff.

The Sweet Prince Otu Cup 2024 is a state football tournament for all secondary schools in the state where all the senatorial districts are involved in a football match within their local government to produce a team that will qualify for a final, which will be played at the state capital stadium, UJ Esuene Stadium, Calabar.

The Prince Otu Cup 2024 begins its tournament at the Northern Senatorial District on 16th-20th September, where all 5 local governments (Bekwara, Obudu, Obanliku, Yala, Ogoja) played among themselves to produce teams for the next zonal playoff, which is meant to commence 23rd-27th September 2024 at OGOJA Stadium.

The northern senatorial district, after summarizing the first stage of the Sweet Prince Cup, recorded that among 5 local governments, each team is represented.

The representative of Obudu LGA to the zonal is Community Secondary School Lishi gie Keshi, Obudu.

Olachor Community Science College Okpoma is representing Yala LGA.

Obanliku LGA is represented by COMMUNITY SECONDARY COMMERCIAL SCHOOL, KETTING.

Bekwarra LGA is represented by BEKWARRA SECONDARY SCHOOL ABUCHICHE.

The zonal playoff is meant to produce the teams for the next stage, which is meant to be playing for the quarterfinals and semifinals before the finals at the UJ Esuene Stadium Calabar.
