OFFICIAL: VC APPOINTS DR. OBOYI JOSEPH AS HOD OF MATHEMATICS
The Vice Chancellor of the University of Calabar, Prof. Florence Banku Obi has appointed Dr. Oboyi Joseph as the Head of
Department of Mathematics in the Faculty of Physical Sciences.
The appointment which was conveyed in a letter signed by the VC is for a period of two years, effective from 1st October, 2024 to 30th September, 2026.
According to the letter, Dr. Oboyi is expected to implement laudable programmes to repositioning the Department for efficiency and quality service, even as he is urged to diligently and effectively administer the department to ensure optimal productivity.
As contained in the letter, the Vice Chancellor also warned that any Head of Department who fails deliver results within the stipulated time or breaches the University regulations will be sanctioned.
