Prof C.E. Onwukwe Has been Appointed as the Head of Department of Statistics
The Vice Chancellor of the University of Calabar, Prof Florence Banku Obi, has appointed Prof C.E. Onwukwe as the Head of Department of Statistics in the Faculty of Physical Sciences.

The appointment which was conveyed in a letter signed by the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof Florence Banku Obi is for a three-year period, effective from October 1, 2024, to September 30, 2027.
According to the letter, as Head of Department, Prof C.E. Onwukwe is expected to implement laudable programmes to reposition the department for efficiency and quality service, even as he is urged to bring his wealth of experience to bear by diligently and effectively carrying out his responsibilities to ensure optimal productivity in the department.
The Vice Chancellor, as contained in the letter, warns that any Head of Department who fails to deliver results within the stipulated time or breaches University regulations will face sanctions.
