Another Nigerian deaf man by name Emmanuel Effiong Enensi known aka Alan Emmanuel is set for Guinness World Record of the fastest time of 4.20 seconds (Signing-Athon)
The former British man that was holding the record, for the fastest time to spell the British Sign Language Alphabet is 4.7sec and achieved by Thomas McWhinney (UK) in an event organised by Robert Skinner at the Sassoon Gallery in London, Uk, on 23 August 2008.
According to Guinness World Records, there is no previous holder record for the fastest time to spell the American Sign Language Alphabet.
Now a Nigerian Deaf is set to break the record by Signing American Sign Language Alphabet for 4.30seconds
He is set a new Guinness World Record
He stated that he has applied four weeks ago the Guinness World Record for the fastest spell American Sign Language Alphabet and Guinness World Records has given me the green light for the fastest spell American signing language alphabet.
Emmanuel Effiong Enensi is a student of the prestigious Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Port Harcourt in Rivers state. He is currently in his sophomore year studying Guidance Counseling and Special Education.
He is the current Deputy Senate President of National Association of Nigerian Deaf Student.
He is a also a passionate volunteer at any NGOs any Disability organizations
He is a disability inclusivist & Deaf Rights Advocate.
On 23th September 2023, (During the month of International Week of Deaf), \”i’ll embark on an incredible journey of creativity. I will attempt to sign\” he declared.
He pleased everyone to join him in breaking boundaries, unleashing imagination, and setting a new record!
