The delegation has been actively engaging with key stakeholders including Hon. Uchenna Harris Okonkwo, Member, House Committee on SMEs; Markus Wauschkuhn, Cluster Coordinator, giz; Charles Odii, DG/CEO, SMEDAN; and Fegho Umunubo, Special Assistant to the President (Office of the Vice President) on Digital and Creative Economy, and other development partners, to discuss potential collaborations and explore ways to enhance the state’s MSME landscape.

As the conference continues, the Cross River State delegation remains committed to representing the state’s interests and building lasting relationships to foster the promotion of Made-in-Cross River Products, such as the meeting with Olusegun Olutayo, Lead, Trade Enablement, National Action Committee on the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA); Oluwatobiloba Moody, Director, World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO); Nonye Ayeni, Executive Director/CEO, National Export Promotion Council; Arthur Nkemeh, Head, SMEs, Wema Bank; and Lady Gracetiti Fredson, President, Nigerian Women in Agricultural Business Cooperative Society Limited (NIWAB).
