The Institute of Public Policy and Administration (IPPA), University of Calabar, is pleased to announce that applications are now open for its ongoing enrollment programs. Admission is open to all Nigerians for the following Postgraduate and Diploma Programmes for the 2023/2024 and 2024/2025 academic sessions.
Postgraduates Programmes (2023/2024 Academic Session)
The Institute of Public Policy and Administration invites applications for admission into the following postgraduate programmes:
-Masters in Policy and Administrative Studies (MPAS) – (Three Semesters)
-Postgraduate Diploma in Public Administration (PGDPA)– (Two Semesters)
– Postgraduate Diploma in Peace Studies and Conflict Management (PGDPSCM) – (Two Semesters)

Admission Requirements
– A candidate must possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or HND (Higher National Diploma) with distinction or credit level.
– Candidates with Third Class honours or a low GPA can apply for the Master’s program.
– Candidates whose first degree is unclassified but have 50 percent or above can also apply.
Diploma Programmes for (IPPA), University of Calabar:(2024/2025 Academic Session)
The Institute of Public Policy and Administration (IPPA) also offers admission into the following full-time diploma programmes:
-Diploma in Public Administration (DPA) – (Two Years)
– Diploma in Personnel Management (DPM) – (Two Years)
– Diploma in Local Government (DLG) – (Two Years)
– Diploma in Law (DL) – (Two Years)
– Diploma in Tourism and Hotel Management (DTM) – (Two Years)
– Diploma in Business Administration (DBA) – (Two Years)
– Diploma in Social Work (DSW)– (Two Years)
Admission Requirements for (IPPA), University of Calabar:
– Candidates must possess a WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB certificate with at least four credit passes, including a credit pass in English Language and a pass in Mathematics.
– All results should be obtained in not more than two sittings.
Method of Application for Institute of Public Policy and Administration (IPPA), University of Calabar:
For Postgraduate Programmes:
Applicants should visit the University of Calabar online portal to generate a transaction ID before proceeding to a designated bank for payment. After payment, applicants should complete the online application form.
For Diploma Programmes for (IPPA), University of Calabar:
Applicants should contact the Director’s Office (CES) at the Institute of Public Policy and Administration (IPPA) to obtain the account details before proceeding to the designated banks for payment. After payment, the online forms should be completed.
Forms must be submitted along with photocopies of credentials and bank payment receipts (tellers).
