Frontline aspirant for the Obudu Local Government Chairmanship, Martha Agba, has extended her felicitations to the good people of Obudu on the occasion of her new yam festival
Martha encouraged the people of Obudu to use the occasion of the new yam feast to promote love, peace, and unity. She noted that the festival reflects the rich cultural heritage of the good and peace-loving people of Obudu.
She appreciates those who have preserved and promoted the culture of the Obudu people. Particularly, the Traditional Rulers of Obudu Local Government Area.
She also expressed her commitment towards developing the cultural festival to a national event with visitors from the diaspora community.
Martha prayed for a bountiful harvest for the people of Obudu while wishing them happiness as they celebrate with family, friends, and the less privileged.
