Michael Odere Awards Scholarships To Eleven Students Across Higher Institution’s In Calabar.

 

In a laudable move to promote academic excellence, Cross River State\’s Commissioner of Finance, Hon. Michael Odere, has presented tuition scholarships to outstanding students in higher institutions in Calabar. The recipients, who achieved a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.0 and above, were awarded the scholarships at a ceremony in the Commissioner\’s office.

Hon. Odere emphasized the importance of maintaining high academic standards, assuring the beneficiaries that it would unlock further opportunities. He stressed that their educational pursuits are crucial for their future, noting that their certificates are invaluable assets.

Comrade Enyam Joseph-Kelvin, Special Assistant on Student Affairs to the Governor, who led the beneficiaries; Ogar Geraldine Jenechinghi,Agiake Akpana Cecilia, Achu Kenoly Ndep, Ojong Janet Maru, Akpa David Otona, Uchino Otei Enah, Okpe joy Irenene, Bassey Felix Asuquo,Wisdom Fidelis Alu, Igbeng Emmanuel Lazarus, Andong God’swill Andong Praised the Commissioner\’s commitment to educational development, describing him as a \”true de-tribalized Cross Riverian.\” He expressed confidence in the state\’s future, citing initiatives like this as a significant step towards achieving sustainable educational growth while promoting His Excellency, Senator(Prince) Bassey Edet Otu\’s People\’s First agenda.
