For several months, residents of a compound on Goldie Street in Calabar, Cross River State, have been plagued by ongoing thefts of personal belongings, including wigs, clothing, bags, toiletries, foodstuffs, and even larger items like a student’s bed and kitchen utensils. The tenants, frustrated and concerned, had no suspect as the compound’s CCTV footage failed to reveal any clues.

Upon her return, she asked him to leave the key by her window. However, when she arrived home, she discovered that someone had broken in, stealing wigs valued at 1.5 million Naira and other valuables. This incident added to the tenants’ fears, as it was clear the thief was accessing personal spaces and taking high-value items.
