Written by Mary Bassey

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, hosted a private dinner for family members and close associates on Thursday to celebrate the graduation of his daughter, Jazmyne Wike, from the University of Southampton in the United Kingdom.

Jazmyne earned a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree with Upper Second-Class Honours (2:1) during the university’s graduation ceremony held on Wednesday.

The celebration was disclosed on Friday by the Minister’s Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media, Lere Olayinka, who shared photos from the event on his official social media pages.

According to Olayinka, the dinner brought together friends and family to celebrate Jazmyne’s academic success and mark the completion of her legal studies at one of the United Kingdom’s respected universities.

The graduation marks another academic milestone for the Wike family, with congratulatory messages pouring in from supporters and well-wishers following the release of photos from the celebration.

The event was attended by close family members, invited guests, and associates who joined the FCT Minister in celebrating the achievement.
