An independent Paris Base Curator, Bose FAGBEMI, is set to exhibit Northern Cross River tourist sites through visual arts.

Bose Fagbemi is the converger of Traces of Time Calabar. She studied art history, which emanated a love for the rich diversity of Nigerian culture.

Fagbemi have been exploring the rich culture of Cross River State for over two decades. She has also built a relationship between Calabar and the Benin Kingdom in her venture into tourism.

  1. Bose Fagbemi is the author behind the Urban Art Exhibition, which will be hosted in Bekwara, Obudu, Yala,Obanliku and Ogoja on a visual art display of 15th–21st century art from the Northern Senatorial District of Cross River State, consisting of all local government areas.

The exhibition is slated to hold between 1st – 30th September 2024

The project is to add visual arts to the  rich culture of the 5 districts, especially during the period of the festivals.

The exhibition will consist of different institutional artists such as OKON UKPONG, ERIC OKAH, JERRY UNIMKE, RHODA AKAEGBU, NDEM KINGSLEY ETTE, ОКРОК EKONG OKON, ERASMUS ONYISHI, NJE JOHN AGBOR, PROF PEJU LAYIWOLA, UMANA NOCHIRI, and BLESSY BASSY.
