UNICAL Ph.D. Graduates Return to Appreciate Hon. Oden Ewa
Hon. Oden Ewa, the current Commissioner for Special Duties and Intergovernmental Relations to the Governor of Cross River State, recently received a visit from a group of Ph.D. graduates from the University of Calabar (UNICAL).
Following their convocation on March 22, 2025, these scholars returned to express their heartfelt appreciation for his unwavering support in their academic journey.

“I was absolutely overjoyed yesterday when a group of scholars from the Central Senatorial District, who recently earned doctoral degrees in various fields at the University of Calabar, paid me a visit to express their gratitude and appreciation.
Their kind gesture left me both honored and humbled, knowing that I had played a role in their academic success. Education, to me, is the foundation of every thriving society, and I strongly believe that investing in knowledge is crucial for progress.
Whenever the opportunity arises, I never hesitate to support those in pursuit of learning. I thank the Almighty for using me as a vessel to guide and assist these outstanding scholars throughout their journey. Earning a Ph.D. requires immense dedication, long hours of research, and countless sleepless nights, but their perseverance has led to this well-deserved success.
