Dear Constituents,
World Down Syndrome Day is a global healthcare event observed every year on the 21st of March to raise awareness and promote inclusion for people with Down syndrome.
For us, this day serves as a reminder to embrace diversity and foster an inclusive society where each person, regardless of their abilities, is celebrated and cherished.
This year’s theme: “Improve Our Support Systems”, highlights the need to strengthen inclusive support systems to ensure that individuals with Down syndrome receive the care, education, and opportunities they deserve.
It is our collective responsibility to promote policies that ensure equal opportunities in education, healthcare, and employment for individuals with Down syndrome.
Today, let us commit to breaking barriers and creating a society where inclusion is not just a goal but a reality.
